Phil Hull Retires as Energy Solutions Training Center Director

Phil Hull is retiring this week after 16 years with CHP Energy Solutions, leaving behind a tremendous legacy at our Training Center. Phil joined CHP in 2010 as a trainer and, through his expertise, leadership, and dedication to the industry, went on to serve as Training Center Director for the past 12 years. During that time, he played a key role in growing the Training Center's reach, expanding educational opportunities beyond Virginia, and helping launch CHP's second training center in Baltimore, Maryland. His work helped strengthen CHP's reputation as a leader in building science, weatherization, and energy efficiency training.
 

Throughout his career, Phil has been passionate about helping others learn and succeed. Under his leadership, the Training Center has provided education and certifications to more than 50,000 students across the United States, Canada, and Latin America. Whether training new energy professionals, developing instructors, or advancing industry best practices, Phil has always been committed to raising the bar for the weatherization and energy efficiency workforce. His influence can be seen not only within CHP, but throughout the national weatherization network. 

Most recently, Phil was recognized with the Energy OutWest President's Award for his efforts to develop top-tier trainers and training programs across the country. It is a fitting recognition for someone who has devoted so much of his career to helping others grow and excel. Phil and his team have been instrumental to the success of the Energy OutWest Conference for more than a decade, and his contributions to CHP, the Training Center, and the industry as a whole will have a lasting impact. As he begins this next chapter, we thank Phil for his years of service and wish him all the best as he pursues his lifelong interests and well-earned retirement.
